Anti-Erythropoietin (EPO), clone 5E592

Erythropoietin is a humoral factor that stimulates erythropoiesis. EPO has four introns and five exons and contains 165 amino acids. EPO induces growth and differentiation of burst forming units and colony forming units into mature red blood cells. Human erythropoietin stimulates growth of rodent bone marrow cells. Recombinant erythropoietin is produced in CHO cells by a DNA sequence encoding the human EPO protein. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Pair: Capture: E3455-15A , Detection: E3455-15, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
