Product information "Anti-Elk-1, phosphorylated (Ser383)"
Elk-1, a 62kD transcription factor, is the most abundant component of ternary complex factors that is regulated by phosphorylation and in turn regulates gene expression in response to multiple stimuli. Elk-1 is a substrate of MAP kinase and phosphorylated by ERK2 on several sites in the carboxyl terminus, including serine 383. Phosphorylation of Elk-1 on serine 383 is critical for its transcriptional activity, including Elk-1-mediated transcription of c-Fos. Dephosphorylation of serine 383 by calcineurin downregulates Elk-1 transcriptional activity. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA. Other applications not tested., , Recommended Dilution:, Indirect FLISA: 1ug/ml of peptide/or peptide conjugate in pH 9.5 carbonate buffer, 100ul/well., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50?, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
