Protein function: Hydrolyzes a wide range of dipeptides including the conversion of leukotriene D4 to leukotriene E4 (PubMed:2303490, PubMed:6334084, PubMed:31442408). Hydrolyzes cystinyl-bis-glycine (cys- bis-gly) formed during glutathione degradation. Possesses also beta lactamase activity and hydrolytically inactivates beta-lactam antibiotics (PubMed:6334084). [The UniProt Consortium] Buffer: 40% glycerol and PBS (pH 7.2). 0.02% sodium azide is added as preservative. Highest antigen sequence identity to mouse: 71% and to rat: 72%
