Product information "Anti-DNMT2"

DNMT2 (UniProtKB/Swiss Prot entry O14717) belongs to the family of DNA cytosine methyltransferases. DNMT2, however, lacks the large N terminal regulatory domain common to other eukaryotic methyltransferases and does not methylate CpG in genomic DNA. Instead, it specifically methylates cytosine 38 in the anticodon loop of Asp transfer RNA.
