Anti-DNA Methyltransferase-1 (Dnmt 1), clone 6D354

DNA methyltransferases (Dnmts) methylates the 5-position of cytosine in the context of CpG dinucleotides. DNA methylation is crucial for normal embryonic development, genetic imprinting, and X-chromosome inactivation. Applications: Suitable for use in ChIP, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Diluions: Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1-2ug/ml, Western Blot: 0.1-0.5ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
