Deoxycytidine kinase is responsible for the phosphorylation of several deoxyribonucleosides and... more
Product information "Anti-DCK, CT (DCK, Deoxycytidine kinase)"
Deoxycytidine kinase is responsible for the phosphorylation of several deoxyribonucleosides and their analogs. Deficiency of this enzyme activity is associated with resistance to antiviral and anticancer chemotherapeutic agents, whereas increased enzyme activity is associated with increased activation of these compounds to cytotoxic nucleoside triphosphate derivatives. It is the rate limiting enzyme in the activation of many important anticancer and retroviral drugs and its activity is often decreased in cells that are resistant to cytosine arabinoside. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation, ELISA, Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000, Western Blot: 1:100-500, IP1:500-1:1000, Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-100, Immunofluorescence: 1:10-50, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
