Product information "Anti-DCC (Netrin Receptor DCC, Colorectal Cancer Suppressor, Immunoglobulin Superfamily DCC Subclass"
Deleted in colorectal cancer (DCC) is a 170-190kD transmembrane glycoprotein that contains four Ig-like domains and six fibronectin type III repeats in its extracellular domain. DCC is expressed on axons during development where its binding to Netrin-1 regulates axon migration and myelination. It inhibits apoptosis when bound by Netrin-1 and can induce apoptosis in the absence of ligand. DCC also functions as an adhesion molecule and a tumor suppressor on intestinal epithelial cells. Deficiencies in DCC function are associated with the development and metastasis of many tumors. Within aa1323-1447 of the cytoplasmic domain, human DCC shares 98% aa sequence identity with the mouse and rat DCC. , , Applications:, Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 25ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, E. coli-derived, recombinant human DCC. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
