Anti-Cyclin D1 (PRAD-1, bcl-1), clone 5G87

Cyclin D1 or PRAD-1 or bcl-1 is one of the key cell cycle regulators, and functions in association with cdk4 and / or cdk6 by phosphorylating the Rb protein. It is a putative proto-oncogene overexpressed in a wide variety of human neoplasms including mantle cell lymphomas (MCL). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin). Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: 1:100 for 10 min at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. , Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. Positive Control: Breast carcinomas or mantle cell lymphoma. Cellular Localization: Nuclear. Storage and Stability:, May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
