Anti-CTRP1 (C1q Tumor Necrosis Factor alpha Related Protein 1, C1qTNF1)

CTRP1 belongs to the highly conserved family of Acrp30/Adiponectin paralogs known as the C1q and TNF-related protein family. All family members share a modular organization comprising an N-terminal signal peptide, a short variable region, a collagenous domain and a C-terminal globular domain. CTRP1 proteins are predicted to have trimeric structures that assemble into hexameric and higher order molecular forms. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml. Using a colormetric detection system, the detection limit is ~5ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions., ELISA (Direct): 0.5-1ug/ml. The detection limit is ~1ng/well., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
