Anti-CLOCK

CLOCK, a basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH)/PAS protein, is an important factor in the molecular clock mechanism. Mutations in this protein lead to abnormal circadian behavior and defective transcriptional activity. CLOCK has been shown to interact strongly with other bHLH-PAS proteins such as MOP3, a BMAL1 isoform. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Chromatin Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:1000, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
