Product information "Anti-Ciliary Neurotrophic Factor (CNTF)"
CNTF mainly signals through binding to a receptor complex consisting of a CNTFRa subunit, two beta components, gp130 and LIFR, resulting ultimately in the activation of JAK/STAT signalling pathway, but CNTF has also been shown to bind to the receptor for interleukin-6 (IL-6R). Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 0.5-2ug/ml, Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
