Required for recruitment of cep110 to the centrosome.,PTM:Phosphorylated upon DNA damage, probably by ATM or ATR.,similarity:Contains 1 IQ domain.,similarity:Contains 6 LRR (leucine-rich) repeats.,subunit:Interacts with CALM1 and CEP110., Protein function: Acts as a key negative regulator of ciliogenesis in collaboration with CCP110 by capping the mother centriole thereby preventing cilia formation (PubMed:17719545, PubMed:30375385). Required for recruitment of CCP110 to the centrosome (PubMed:17719545). [The UniProt Consortium] Recommended dilutions: Western Blot: 1/500 - 1/2000. Immunohistochemistry: 1/100 - 1/300.
