Product information "Anti-CEP76"
This gene encodes a centrosomal protein which regulates centriole amplification by limiting centriole duplication to once per cell cycle. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2012], Protein function: Centrosomal protein involved in regulation of centriole duplication. Required to limit centriole duplication to once per cell cycle by preventing centriole reduplication. [The UniProt Consortium] Recommended dilutions: Western Blot: 1/500 - 1/2000. Immunohistochemistry: 1/100 - 1/300. ELISA: 1/10000. Not yet tested in other applications.. Cellular localization: Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, microtubule organizing center, centrosome . Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, microtubule organizing center, centrosome, centriole. Does not localize along the ciliary axoneme.
