Anti-cdk4 (Cyclin-dependent Kinase 4), clone 2Q306

The prototype of the cdk family, p34cdc2, and a related protein cdk2, function late in the cycle while cdk4 and cdk6 are critically involved in G1 to S progression. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation and Kinase Assay. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml for 2 hrs at RT., Immunoprecipitation: Excellent for coprecipitation of D-type cyclins bound to cdk4., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
