Anti-CD8 (Suppressor/Cytotoxic T cell) (azide free), clone 3H855

CD8, a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, is expressed on the majority of thymocytes, a subset of mature T lymphocytes, and NK cells (almost exclusively CD8a homodimers). CD8a acts as a co-receptor with MHC class I-restricted T cell receptors, and through its association with protein tyrosine kinase p56Ick, modulates antigen recognition and T cell activation as well as thymic development. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:50-1:100, use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul., Immunohistochemistry: frozen, Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
