CD8 is a cell surface glycoprotein found on most cytotoxic T lymphocytes. The antigen is either a homodimer composed of two alpha chains or a disulphide-linked heterodimer composed of one alpha and one beta chain. At least 2 isoforms of the CD8 alpha chain and 6 isoforms of the beta chain are produced by alternative splicing. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. , Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
