Anti-CD70 (Tnfsf7) (Biotin)

Human CD70 is not present on resting lymphocytes. CD70 is expressed after activation on about 20% of T cells and on about 70% of B cells. CD70 is a ligand for CD27 and it is also a member of the tumor necrosis factor gene family. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Functional Application: Antibody inhibits T cell proliferation induced by dendritic cells. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 10ug/ml. Use 80ul to label 5x10e5 Raji cells., Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Negative Control: I1904-78R2: IgG1 Murine Negative Control (Biotin), Flow Cytometry Protocol: 1. 5x10e5 cultured Raji cells were washed, then incubated 45 minutes on ice with 80ul of C2425-01M at 10ug/ml. , 2. Cells were then washed twice and incubated for 45 minutes with S7973-88P: Streptavidin (PE)., 3. Cells were washed three times, fixed and analyzed by FACS. 4. Cells stained with a mean shift of 1.32 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgG1/Biotin negative control at a similar concentration. , 5. Binding was blocked when pre-incubated for 10 minutes with 20ul of 0.5mg/ml of anti-CD70 (C2425-02). Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
