Anti-CD61 (Glycoprotein IIIb, Integrin beta3), clone 2Q800

CD61 (GPIIIa) is a glycoprotein found on megakaryocytes, platelets and their precursors. CD61 antigen plays a role in platelet aggregation and also as a receptor for fibrinogen, fibronection, von Willebrand factor and vitronectrin. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation, Immunocytochemistry and Inhibition. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunocytochemistry: Acetone fixation , Immunoprecipitation: Immunoprecipites a complex of the CD41 and CD61, 105kD reduced and 90kD unreduced, Inhibits platelet aggregation: 10ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
