Platelet GPIX glycoprotein is a 23kD surface marker expressed by platelets and megakaryocytes. Platelet GPIX is also known as CD42a. The CD42 complex is the major platelet receptor for von Willebrand factor. , Applications: , Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: Neat. Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells or 100ul whole blood., Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Recommended Secondary Antibody: F(ab')2 rabbit anti mouse IgG: RPE conjugate, Hybridoma: NS1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
