Anti-CD40, clone 3H1283

CD40 cell surface antigen is a 48kD glycoprotein expressed by B lymphocytes and weakly by some monocytes. CD40 is involved in the process of B cell selection in germinal centers and is vital in T cell-B cell interactions. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 20ug/ml. Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul., Immunohistochemistry (Frozen and paraffin): 1-10ug/ml. Requires protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin embedded sections prior to staining., Immunocytochemistry: 1:10ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Immunohistochemsitry Positive Control: Human tosil, Hybridoma: Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse NS1 myeloma cell line. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
