Anti-CD40

Human CD40 is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor family and is present on all B cells except plasma cells. CD40 is also found on some epithelial cells, carcinomas and lymphoid dendritic cells. CD40 plays an important role in B cell activation and the interaction with its ligand (CD40 Ligand) is essential for isotype switching. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Flow Cytometry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: IOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Flow Cytometry Protocol: 1. Five x 105 cultured Raji cells per tube were incubated 45 minutes on ice with 80ul of C2392-02A at 10 ug/ml. , 2. Cells were washed twice and incubated with I1904-06F., 3. Cells were washed three times, fixed and analyzed using a BD FACS Calibur. , 4. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 1.36 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgG1 negative control (I1904-78) a similar concentration. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.,
