The novel BRCAA1 protein's epitope, SSKKQKRSHK, was mapped to the cytoplasm of MCF-7 cells. Analysis has shown that the antigen epitope exhibited positive expression in 65% of breast cancer specimens. Its expression is associated with characteristics that are associated with prognosis of breast cancer, and its sera antibody level may be helpful for breast cancer diagnosis. Positive Control: MCF-7 cell lysate , Applications: , Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
