Anti-Bone Morphogenetic Protein 10 (BMP10)

Bone morphogenetic protein 10 (BMP-10) is a TGF-b superfamily member whose expression is restricted to the developing and postnatal heart. It is synthesized as a 424aa pre-proprotein with a putative 21aa signal peptide, a 292aa propeptide, and a 108aa mature protein. Mature BMP-10 is secreted as a 25kD disulfide-linked homodimer. The mouse BMP-10 proprotein shares 86-95aa sequence identity with human and rat BMP-10, respectively. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 8-25ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
