Anti-APP, NT (Amyloid beta A4 Protein, ABPP, APPI, APP, Alzheimer Disease Amyloid Protein, Cerebral

The amyloid precursor protein (APP) is a large membrane protein whose C-terminus projects into the extracellular space. In Alzheimer's disease this protein is broken down, and releases the 42 AA beta amyloid protein that is found in senile plaques and vessels. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
