Product information "Anti-Anoctamin-9"

function:May act as a calcium-activated chloride channel.,sequence caution:Intron retention.,similarity:Belongs to the anoctamin family., Protein function: Has calcium-dependent phospholipid scramblase activity, scrambles phosphatidylserine, phosphatidylcholine and galactosylceramide. Does not exhibit calcium-activated chloride channel (CaCC) activity (PubMed:22178883). Can inhibit the activity of ANO1 (PubMed:20056604, PubMed:22946059). [The UniProt Consortium] Recommended dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: 1/100 - 1/300. Immunofluorescence: 1/200 - 1/1000. ELISA: 1/5000. Not yet tested in other applications.. Cellular localization: Cell membrane , Multi-pass membrane protein . Shows predominantly an intracellular localization with a weak expression in the cell membrane.
