Protein function: Has calcium-dependent phospholipid scramblase activity, scrambles phosphatidylserine, phosphatidylcholine and galactosylceramide. Does not exhibit calcium-activated chloride channel (CaCC) activity (PubMed:22075693). May play a role in cell-cell interactions (PubMed:17308099). [The UniProt Consortium] Buffer: 40% glycerol and PBS (pH 7.2). 0.02% sodium azide is added as preservative.
