Anti-Alpha A Crystallin Antibody was purified by Protein G chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Alpha A Crystallin from Human, Mouse, Cow, and Rat based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Does not cross-react with ?B-crystallin, ?L-crystallin, ?H- crystallin, ?-crystallin, Hsp25, Hsp27 or Hsp47 proteins. Cross-reactivity with Alpha A Crystallin from other sources has not been determined. Chaperones & Trafficking research. Protein function: May contribute to the transparency and refractive index of the lens. Has chaperone-like activity, preventing aggregation of various proteins under a wide range of stress conditions.
