Anti-ABCG2 (MXR, BCRP, ABCP) (Biotin)

ABCG2, also called MXR, BCRP or ABCP, is highly overexpressed in several drug-resistant cell lines and localizes predominantly to the plasma membrane (Rocchi, E. et al., 2000, Biochem. Biophys. Res. Commun. 271:42-46). ABCG2 has also been shown to be expressed at relatively high levels in human hematopoietic stem cells (CD34+, CD38-) and to drop sharply in committed progenitors (CD34+/CD38+) (Scharenberg, C.W. et al., 2002, Blood 99:507-512). Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1ug/million , Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
