YVAD-CHO (trifluoroacetate salt)

YVAD-CHO is an inhibitor of caspase-1/interleukin-1beta converting enzyme (ICE) and a non-acetylated form of Ac-YVAD-CHO (Cay-10016). It prevents ICE-like and CPP32-like proteinase activity and inhibits apoptosis induced by ceramide or irinotecan (CPT-11, Cay-14180) in 4B1 cells when used at a concentration of 600 µM.
