Anti-TLR6 (Toll Like Receptor 6, Toll-like Receptor 6 Precursor, CD286)

TLR6 is a ~105kD cell surface type I transmembrane protein of the IL-1 receptor/Toll-like receptor (TLR) superfamily. TLRs are leucine-rich repeat-containing pattern recognition receptors for pathogen-associated molecular patterns that activate the innate immune system. TLR6 is expressed on macrophages, monocytes, neutrophils, and dermal endothelial cells in ligand-independent association with TLR-2. The mouse TLR6 extracellular domain shares 72%, and 86% aa identity with human and rat TLR6, respectively, and 59% aa with mouse TLR1. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 25ug/ml. 10ul labels 1-2.5x10e5 cells in a total reaction volume <200ul. Tested using RAW 264.7 cells., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C.
