Product information "Anti-SDHA (Succinate Dehydrogenase [ubiquinone] Flavoprotein Subunit, Mitochondrial, Flavoprotein Su"
Succinate dehydrogenase (SDH), also known as Complex II or succinate:quinone oxidoreductase, is a key component of the citric acid cycle and the electron transport chain (1). Specifically, it is involved in the oxidation of succinate (2). SDH consists of four subunits: SDHA, SDHB, SDHC, and SDHD (3). Defects in SDHA cause complex II deficiency (2). In addition, reduction of SDHA has been observed in the striatum of patients with Huntington's Disease (3). Reduction of SDHB, SDHC, and SDHD are often observed in paragangliomas and phenochromocytomas (4,5). Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence (IF-IC): 1:50, Western Blot: 1:1000, incubate membrane with diluted antibody in 5% BSA, 1X TBS, 0.1% Tween-20 at 4°C with gentle shaking, overnight., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
