Product information "Anti-PIP (3' (2'), 5'-bisphosphate nucleotidase 1, bisophosphotase 3'-nucleotidase 1, PAP-inositol-1"
PIP belongs to the inositol monophosphatase family. It hydrolyses adenosine 3'phosphate 5'-phosphosulfate to adenosine 5-phosphosulfate and 3'(2)'-phosphoadenosine 5'-phospate to AMP. It requires magnesium as a cofactor. Lithium is an uncompetive inhibitor and inositol 1,4-bisphosphate is a competitive inhibitor of PIP. Lithium is one of the drugs used to treat manic depression and the inhibition of PIP may account for lithium-induced nephrotoxicity. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and ELISA. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: 3ug/ml, Immunoflorescence: 10ug/ml, ELISA: This antibody has a detection limit of 0.03ng/ml in sandwhich ELISA when using the recombinant protein., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile 40-50% glycerol, ddH2O. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. Aliquot and store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
