Product information "Anti-Pax5 (Paired Box 5, Paired Box Protein Pax-5, PAX-5, B cell Lineage Specific Activator Protein,"
Paired box protein Pax-5 is a member of the paired box (PAX) family of transcription factors. This family has a highly conserved DNA-binding motif known as the paired box. Paired box protein Pax-5 may play an important role in B-cell differentiation as well as neural development and spermatogenesis. It is involved in the regulation of the CD19 gene, a B-lymphoid-specific target gene. It localises to the nucleus and is expressed at early B-cell differentiation in the developing CNA and in adult testis. A defect in Paired box protein Pax-5 is a cause of acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, and ELISA. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: 1ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile 40-50% glycerol, ddH2O. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. Aliquot and store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
