Anti-LMX 1.2 (homeobox transcription factor 1 beta, LIM/homeobox protein LMX1B, LIM/homeobox protein

LMX-1.2 is essential for the specification of dorsal limb fate. It is expressed in most of tissues, with highest levels in testis, thyroid, duodenum, skeletal muscle, and pancreatic islets. Defects in LMX-1.2 are the cause of nail-patella syndrome (NPS), also known as Onychoosteodysplasia. NPS is a disease that causes abnormal skeletal patterning and renal dysplasia. LIM homeodomain proteins are characterised by the presence of 2 tandem cysteine/histidine-rich, zinc-binding LIM domains. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
