Anti-Interleukin-5 (IL-5), clone 6A422

IL-5 is a T cell derived haematopoietic growth factor, which stimulates eosinophil differentiation and activation. This clone may be used to neutralize IL-5 bioactivity in a functional assay (1,2). Removal of sodium azide is recommended prior to use in functional assays. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: Membrane permeabilization is required for this application., Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
