Anti-HMGB1 (High Mobility Group Protein 1, HMG-1) (APC)

HMGB1 is a non-histone chromosomal protein that functions in endotoxin lethality. It is released from activated macrophages and is present at elevated levels in the serum of sepsis patients. HMGB1 was also reported to interact with RAGE (receptor for advanced glycation end products) and to influence neuron development. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 0.5ml, 1x10e6 cells, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Mouse myeloma cells with B cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for at 12 months at 4°C. Freezing allophycocyanin conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. Allophycocyaninconjugates are sensitive to light.
