Anti-HDAC7 (Histone Deacetylase 7, DKFZP586J0917, HD7a, HD7, HD7a, HDAC7A)

Histone deacetylase 7 is responsible for the deacetylation of lysine residues on the N-terminal region of the core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, H4). Histone deacetylation gives a tag for epigenetic repression and plays an important role in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression, and developmental events. Histone deacetylases act via the formation of large multiprotein complexes. It is also involved in muscle maturation by repressing transcription of myocyte enhancer factors. Histone deacetylase 7 is a nuclear protein that shuttles between the nucleus and the cytoplasm. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile 40-50% glycerol, ddH2O. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. Aliquot and store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
