Anti-CD20, clone

CD20 is a 35kD leukocyte surface antigen consisting of four transmembrane regions and cytoplasmic N- and C-termini. CD20 is expressed primarily on B cells but has also been detected on both normal and neoplastic T cells. Activation of CD20 significantly increases DNA synthesis and is thought to involve basic helix-loop-helix leucine zipper transcription factors. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 1:400-1:800 for 20 minutes at RT. No special pretreatment is required for staining of formalin/paraffin tissues, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Tonsil, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
