Malantide (trifluoroacetate salt)

Malantide is a synthetic peptide derived from the beta-subunit of human phosphorylase kinase and is a fluorescent substrate for PKA and PKC. Upon phosphorylation by PKA or PKC, the intrinsic tyrosine fluorescence decreases and can be used to quantify PKA and PKC activity.
