Porcine form of Neuropeptide Y (NPY). This neuropeptide is also implicated in the control of food intake. The amino acid sequence of the porcine form of Neuropeptide Y is distinct from the human and rat form. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute to nominal volume (see reconstitution instructions for peptides) and store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
