Product information "CIPP, Control Peptide (Channel-interacting PDZ Domain Protein), Purified"
Channel-interacting PDZ domain protein (CIPP) within kidney and brain, with highest levels in of mRNA expression shown in neurons of the cerebellum, inferior colliculus, vestibular nucleus, facial nucleus, and thalamus. It has been shown to interact with ASIC3, Kir4.1 and Kir4.2 potassium channels, NMDA, neurexins and neuroligins. It is thought that CIPP may act as a scaffolding protein within the synapse to bring together proteins acting together.  , Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute to nominal volume (see reconstitution instructions for peptides) and store at -20°C.
