Interleukin-2 is produced with no animal-derived raw products, animal free equipment and animal free protocols. Purity was determined to be greater than 90% as determined by analysis by UV-Spectroscopy at 280nm and by reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE. Protein function: Produced by T-cells in response to antigenic or mitogenic stimulation, this protein is required for T-cell proliferation and other activities crucial to regulation of the immune response. Can stimulate B-cells, monocytes, lymphokine- activated killer cells, natural killer cells, and glioma cells. [The UniProt Consortium]
