IL-10 is a homodimeric protein, each 18.7kD subunit is 160aa residues in length. IL-10 is a potent inhibitor of several cytokines including IFN gamma, IL-2 and TNF. Interleukin-10 (IL-10) is produced primarily by activated T lymphocytes. Source: Recombinant corresponding to rat IL-10, prepared from E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~18.7kD (160aa sequence) , Activity: 1x105units/mg , Endotoxin: <0.1ng/ug , Applications:, Suitable for use in Functional Assays. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with 10ul 5mM tris, pH7.2. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
