Granulocyte Colony Stimulating Factor, Recombinant, Human (G-CSF)

Human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor(hG-CSF) is one of the hematopoietic growth factors which plays an important role in stimulating proliferation, differentiation, and functional activation of blood cells. In addition to its effect on hematopoiesis, G-CSF also enhances neutrophil functions against bacteria, fungi, and tumor cells mediated by antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity. The ED50 for this effect is less than or equal to 0.3 ng/ml. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
