RUNX1 (runtrelated transcription factor 1), also known as CBFA (corebinding factor a2) or AML1, is a heterodimeric transcription factor that plays a role in normal hematopoiesis. Multiple splice variants exist. Defects in RUNX1 are associated with several types of leukemia. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 2ug/ml, Immunocytochemistry: 8-25ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
