Anti-PPM1D antibody was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography. PPM1D antibody is human, mouse and rat reactive. At least two isoforms of PPM1D are known to exist, this antibody will only detect the larger isoform. Protein function: Required for the relief of p53-dependent checkpoint mediated cell cycle arrest. Binds to and dephosphorylates 'Ser-15' of TP53 and 'Ser-345' of CHEK1 which contributes to the functional inactivation of these proteins. [The UniProt Consortium]
