Product information "Anti-PAR1 (Proteinase Activated Receptor 1, F2R)"
Human Proteinase-Activated Receptor 1 (hPAR1), also known as thrombin receptor, is a 45kD, 399 amino acid long member of the seven-transmembrane superfamily of cell-surface G protein-coupled receptors. PAR1 is activated by thrombin cleavage of its N-terminal propeptide in the extracellular domain. Human PAR1 is widely expressed in many cell types including endothelial cells, and it has been implicated in a variety of inflammatory responses. Over the regions used as immunogen, human and mouse PAR1 proteins are 58% identical in the region spanning the propeptide and extracellular domains, and 84% identical in the cytoplasmic tail. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA (Peptide): 1:32,000, Western Blot: 0.5-2ug/ml. A band at ~48kD was detected in HeLa lysates., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
