Anti-Orexin 2 Receptor (1E3, Orexin Receptor 2, OX2R, CD200R, Hypocretin 2 Receptor, HCRTR2, Ox2r)

Orexin receptor type 2 is a nonselective, high-affinity receptor for both orexin-A and orexin-B neuropeptides. It is involved in the central feedback mechanism that regulates feeding behavior. It is a transmembrane protein and belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and direct ELISA. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile 40-50% glycerol, ddH2O. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. Aliquot and store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
