Product information "Anti-NF1, ID (Neurofibromin, Neurofibromatosis-related Protein NF-1)"
Mutations linked to neurofibromatosis type 1 led to the identification of NF1. NF1 encodes the protein neurofibromin, which appears to be a negative regulator of the ras signal transduction pathway. In addition to type 1 neurofibromatosis, mutations in NF1 can also lead to juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia. Alternatively spliced NF1 mRNA transcripts have been isolated, although their functions, if any, remain unclear. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:20,000, Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000, Immunofluorescence: 1:100-1:500, Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 1:100, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
