Anti-NALP3 (NACHT, LRR and PYD Domains-containing Protein 3, Angiotensin/Vasopressin Receptor AII/AV

NALP3 also known as CIAS1, PYPAF or Cryopyrin is a cytosolic ~120kD member of the NLRP family of proteins expressed in leukocytes, especially neutrophils. As a component of the inflammasome, NALP3 activates caspases 1 and 5. Defects in NALP3 may cause FCAS1, CINCA, or Muckle-Wells autoinflammatory syndromes. Human NALP3 contains an N-terminal Pyrin domain aa1-93 followed by a Nacht region aa220-536, and seven LRRs aa740-991. Within the sequence used as an immunogen, human NALP3 shares 76% and 75% aa identity with mouse and rat NALP3, respectively. Isoforms of 979, 979, 922 and 719aa lack aa720-776, aa836-892, both regions, or terminate at aa719. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunocytochemistry: 8-25ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
